Welcome to the Genetess V1.00 Rules Losing page.

A brief but important section of the rules. If your King (or in the rare circumstances when you have duplicated your King, then any one of your Kings) is taken, you are eliminated from the game. All your pieces remain on the board but you will no longer receive turn sheets for that game and can no longer move any of your pieces.

The only exception to this is if you have pieces left on the board with the P Genetic Code in their Genetic Sequence, "Ronin". Although this does not allow you to continue scoring any points in the game, it does allow you to try and gain a little revenge before you fade from memory. While you still have at least 1 functioning Ronin piece (and they do decay) on the board, you will still receive your turn and be allowed to move and take pieces. Once your last Ronin piece is taken, or decays beyond use, you are finally eliminated and will receive no further turn sheets for that game.

Other players will be told of your elimination and then have the opportunity to digest your pieces if they can. If the piece taking your King had the digest genetic code "G" then that player would have also gained all your stored E.

It is of course hoped that as soon as you are eliminated from one game (if not before) you will sign up for a new one .....

Oh, and my comiserations of course !
